Sarajevo<\/h3>

Sarajevo<\/strong>\u00a0is the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sarajevo is the country\u2019s administrative, economic, cultural, education and sport center. The City of Sarajevo is divided into four municipalities: Stari Grad, Centar, Novo Sarajevo and Novi Grad.
Sarajevo is located in the Sarajevo Field, surrounded by the Olympic mountains: Bjelasnica, Igman, Jahorina and Trebevic. The average land elevation of the city is 500 m above sea level.<\/p>\n

Most of the Sarajevo\u2019s tourist attractions are located in the Old Town known as Bascarsija spreading towards the city center easily reachable on foot and well connected to other parts of the city and to the surrounding mountains and other natural and cultural sites by public transportation.<\/p>\n

Catering establishments, shops, shopping malls and travel agencies in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina cannot accept EURO payments since October 1st, 2010. Foreign currencies should be exchanged to the official local currency Convertible Mark (BAM or KM).<\/p>\n

Internet \u2013 Internet connections and wi-fi are available in most hotels and caf\u00e9s throughout the city.<\/p>\n
